Training Day Schedule
Basic Makeup Training 1 day basic training you will be gaining knowledge about makeup application and 2 main makeover looks a natural and a Smokey eye look.
This course is ideal for novices and people who are not as confident in make up.
10:30am Prompt Start: On arrival on the course you will be given an introduction to the trainer. Each of the trainee will introduce themselves to the group to create a friendly and calming atmosphere. You will receive a Training Manual via email at the end of the course. Basic hygiene will also be covered and cleanliness of products and equipment. Throughout the day our qualified trainer will give you tips on how to attract clientele and market your makeup business.
Now you have the opportunity for ‘hands on’ practical training to recreate a step by step ‘Day Time Look’. This includes preparing your client using basic skincare, hygiene, cleanliness, checking for skin conditions and allergies. You will select your foundation base according to skin tones and concealer/neutralizers will be demonstrated for any corrective work, Learning when and how to use them. This is followed by shading/highlighting and contouring as well as blush, face powder for blotting and anti-shine. Next is preparing the eyes (a natural lid), application of eye shadow, contouring and blending, eye definition with pencils and other liners, mascara and eye lashes.
A second look is to create a step by step evening look incorporating a ‘Smokey Eye’. You will prepare the face as you did before learning which colours and products would work for a night time evening look. The eyes will be prepped to create a Smokey eye and apply more definition and shading to the face.
Review of day & Finish
On completion of the course you will receive a CS Beauty Academy training certificate.
